Mudfish Size: 2 Variteties: - Description: The Mudfish is a "simple" fish that scavenges for food along the muddy bottoms of the Eterra River. Despite it's simple looks, it's quite clever compared to the more common fish - and can even be trained. Be cautious of it's wide mouth though, they are opportunistic eaters.

Pinball Size: 1 Variteties: - Description: The Pinball Fish is a comical yet clever creature - who generally is found in good humor. They like to play pranks, and yet at the same time - get quite nervous if a "prank" is played on them. They eat plants, and do not enjoy the jokes of "would be predators" - be careful, they will defend themselves!

Pinchclaw and Snapclaw Size: 2 Variteties: - Description: Though they may look like a simple crab - do not think of them lightly! They are intelligent enough to be trained - and have a rather territorial temper. They will defend their food, water, and home... even if that "home" is their owner. They have a bad habbit of not knowing what is "too much" - if they get started in a fight, they will rarely stop until they have slain their foe - or until they are slain themselves.. Something like the "wolverines of the waves". Luckily, they're slow to anger.

Skippernipper Size: 3 Variteties: - Description: For such a large amphibian - they're rather hard to find! These predatory creatures use ambush tactics, and are more elusive than one would expect for something light blue at the bottom of the river. Reguardless of their habit in diet, they are friendly by nature (if very shy), and warm up quickly to their owners... if you can catch one.

Whippersnapper Size: 3 Variteties: - Description: The Whippersnapper is just as it's name implies. It uses it's long whip-like body to swim through the water's strongest currents - and it's long jaw full of jagged teeth are used to snap of their unsuspecting prey. Fast, agile, and lots of teeth. Luckily (or un-luckily), these creatures are also rather intelligent. Think you're good enough to train one into loyalty?

Squirt Size: 1 Variteties: Common, Deadly, Ghost Description: They say that a Squirt is actually a baby Kraken... I beg to differ. These creatures are rather shy, and make good use of their ability to "run away" and distract their enemies with their ink. Of course, each variety has a different method of dealing with predators... Beware the Deadly Squirt!

Halberd Shark Size: 5 Variteties: River, Bay, Ocean Description: The Halberd Shark is by far one of the most prized creatures of the water. It is also one of the most dangerous. Did we mention it's intelligent enough to be trained? Oh yeah, these things are awesome. Unfortunately, if you catch one - you do sort of start with a negative amount of loyalty... after all, why would they take commands from their food? As their name implies, they have several metal-like "horns" on their body - which are extrememly sharp. The older the shark, the larger their "Halberd"... We would like to suggest not holding onto it.

Sand Skimmer Size: 1 Variteties: - Description: This (intelligent) creature looks rather familiar, doesn't it...? I wonder where I've seen one before... Hm, well - anyway... These creatures live by skimming along the sands at the bottom of the river or along the beach, finding miniature particles of food to eat.

Sea Pony Size: 2 Variteties: - Description: The Sea Pony is one of the most prized creatures of the waters - even more so than the Hablerd Shark! The Sea Pony is in fact a baby Sea Mare or Sea Stag. Every year, the Sea Mares and Stags will go up-river from their Ocean home - breed, and lay their eggs there - only to retreat back into the Bay. The Sea Ponies stay in the River once they hatch, until they're old enough to head to the Bay as adults. If you manage to get ahold of a Sea Pony, take good care of it! You may have a very special aquatic mount on your hands!

Ram Fish Size: 4 Variteties: Mud, Algae Description: The Ram Fish, despite it's name - is not related to a Ram, but is rather named for it's bony plate upon it's head - which it uses to.. you guessed it - ram into things. It's a rather large creature, and like most of the creatures listed here - quite intelligent. They are a more primal creature though - and prefer to stun their prey (by ramming into them), then snapping them up in their jaws. Their long fins are not very delicate, but rather can move much like hands, helping them to "crawl" along the rocky bottom of the rivers and reefs.

Blarg Whale Size: 4 Variteties: - Description: The Blarg Whale - though intelligent enough to be trained (with effort), is considered to be a "cow of the water".. they're slow, simple minded, and mostly swim by allowing their stored fat to help them float along - their fins mostly there to help guide them. They have poor eyesight, and aren't very fast or agile. Needless to say, they're a favorite food of Halberd Sharks.. It is rumored that the Blarg Whale is a closely related cousin to the far superior Kodai Whale.

Vacera Size: 4 Variteties: - Description: The Vacera is actually only found in the deepest parts of the ocean, perhaps close to the underwater city - according to rumors. These creatures glide smoothly along the waters, and are considered to have poor eyesight because of the depths that they travel. Their two antennae glow to lure in prey.
