Species Standards
Prefered Habitat: Bamboo forests. They can tolerate both cold and warm temperatures, usually always
humid.
Diet: Their diet consists 95% of bamboo, so be sure to supply quite a lot! They're also capable of eating
bugs and fruit on rare occasions.
Call: Panillas make various sounds, ranging from little soft grunts, to a ... well.. it's that "gentle" noise that
guinea-pig makes.. You know, that NOT high pitched annoying one.
Special Care Needs: Let them sleep when they wish to sleep.
Biology and Anatomy: Something odd happens when you breed "large" and "small" panilla together... You
often times will get the "hybrid" panilla - a creature that can only be obtained through breeding.. that's right -
no custom hybrid.
Behavioral Study: The panilla likes to spend most of it's day sleeping. On the rare occasions that it does
awaken, it usually hops about looking for food. Be sure to let it sleep a lot, otherwise they get kinda' grumpy.
You may also wish to provide them with a bath (of dust), so they make keep themselves well groomed.
Suggested Uses: Panillas seem to be nothing more than very cute companion animals. They can become
quite loving if properly trained and cared for, and can even learn to come to their name! Many parents like to
give baby panillas as pets to their children, in place of dogs.
