Species Standards

Prefered Habitat: Weavers like dark places, hidden away from view - with little wind or desturbance.. they
like the darkness as well.

Diet: Weavers eat mostly insects.. but rumors have it that some of them devour your mind or dream
energy... perhaps it depends on the particular breed...

Call: The weavers make no noise at all.. but.. rumors have it, some of them can "speak" to you in your
dreams.. but, those are just rumors, right?

Special Care Needs:  Just be sure to not disturb them too often, and they won't get that grumpy.

Biology and Anatomy:   Coming Soon...

Behavioral Study: Weavers seem to have hatched in large groups, which consist of up to 25 small
weavers.. they constantly fight with each other, just as much as they work together - building large webs as
a colony. However, if one of them is larger, or better than the other - it would just as gladly eat it's
brother/sister as it would any bug... In fact, by the time they reach their "juvenile" stage of life, the largest and
most fit of the Weavers eats all of it's siblings.. and is the only one of the hatchlings left! Once they reach
adulthood, their mindset hasn't changed much.. they don't like to spend time around other weavers, only get
together to breed - which also generally results in a death.

Suggested Uses: Weavers are.. creepy pets.. most people just like to have them around as a display
animal - though.. they are quite intelligent - so you could easily take them with you, and not worry too much
about loosing them, if you trained them right. Some weavers, it is said, are so intelligent that they can see
into the future, weaving it and civilizations to their whim... but, those are just rumors, right? I mean.. magical
spiders..?
Breeds Available
Death: The death weaver carries with it a deadly poison - which can easily kill a human.. because of this,
they are no longer available for adoption.. if you own one, please be cautious when handling it. The death
weaver is a foul-tempered creature, who enjoys watching those around it suffer.. be super cautious when
you own one, for it may be the death of you - no matter how "loyal" it may seem.

Dream: The dream weaver is the one rumored to "weave" your dreams, be they good or bad.. they are also
rumored to feast on dreams.. but. thsoe are just rumors, right..? These are the true fortunte-tellers of the
weavers, with generally no ill-intent.. They are often found (if ever) hiding in dark corners, weaving great
webs of the future. They can tell you perhaps how you will find love, or even die.. but that doesn't mean they
won't give it to you wrapped in riddles - they never give a straight answer... It is also said that they have the
power to change it..

Mind: The mind weaver is almost as dangerous as the death weaver, or so rumors have it.. people claim
that the mind weaver will speak to them, and make them do things - whispering in their ears... but.. no
weaver, not even mind weavers, can talk... it must be madness! Madness indeed - these weavers can take
the very threads that make up one's sanity, and tie them into knots... Anyone with a loyal mind weaver not
only has a powerful creature at their side - but tends to... have a ... distorted reality, often to the point of
insanity.

Web: Web weavers lack any hints at psychic abilities, or toxins for that matter... however, with enough effort,
they can learn to make great things.. many great things... ever seen a basket woven out of pure silk?

Love
The Love-Weaver seems to have lost all it's "evil" intents.. Similar to the dust-weaver, it is pale in color - but
fairly more.. um.. pink. It's skull marking (which shows off it's deadly powers) have faded into a light grey,
which one can assume will one day dissapear completely. The love weaver is by no means a stupid
creature, nor is it naive.. but it would much rather knit you scaves and sweaters than poison you or hide in
dark corners.. well, okay - maybe hide in your attic while it makes you presents... But do not take it's
kindness for granted
Dust
The Dust-Weaver is a rather pale Weaver indeed.. they tend to live where the land is sandy, and instead of
building grand webs, they burrow little tunnels within' the sand or dirt, and lay there in waiting - ever so
patient for their prey to walk close enough, then "snatch!" they jump out of their hidden burrow, and take their
victim.. However, even with these tactics for eating - the Dust-Weaver is revered by the native desert people
as the crafter of the cities.. made from sun-dried mud bricks... Hm...
