Species Standards

Prefered Habitat: All of the Formina prefer dense jungle, or rainforest as their homestead.

Diet: There are small differences between each breed in diet - but all are capable of eating meat, so that
would be your best bet if you own multiple Formica.

Call: The only noise they appear to be able to make at this young age is a strange clicking.

Special Care Needs:  Formica, as a general rule, are fairly agressive creatures.. even the most calm
Formica can have a tendancy to "nip"... Please read the breed differences for more details.

Biology and Anatomy:   Coming Soon

Behavioral Study: All Formica work wonderfully in groups.. of thier own kind... They don't usually get along
with the Formica of other breeds though, so keep a sharp eye.

Suggested Uses: Although they all seem very strong, the Ninjutsu and Bushido seem more fit for physical
battle. They smell funny, though... I wonder what that could mean?
Breeds Available
Bushido: The Bushido are omnivores, eating both green foliage and meat. These creatures are failry easy
to take care of, provided you always treat them with respect and honor - they're sometimes strange and
confusing in their way of life. The Bushido seem to have an inborn set of rules and codes that they must
adhere to. No matter what, they will always follow that code, which requires them to stand up for those less
powerful than them, especially children, even when they, themselves are children. At a young age, they are
always respectful to those older then themselves, and seem to often go by 'children are to be seen, not
heard.' But when they feel something unjust is being done, they will always step in to stop it. Be cautious -
because this "code of honor" can never be changed by an owner - and owners are not excempt!

Geisha: The Gheisha appear to eat fruit, but much prefer flesh... and it won't be long before you notice
human flash is their favorite, as they continually nibble on you, and not really in a loving way. The Geisha
have a bad tendency to try to eat every single human they come across, although it's not very possible at this
point. The Geisha is more mysterious, and their desires and plans tend to be more veiled. They can be
extremely charming, when they want to be, and tend to lay the charm on very thick when they want someone
on their side. They always seem to get what they want, although never through force. They can easily charm
the Bushido into protecting them with little to no effort. They also tend to try to eat pretty much every human
that comes with in a five yard radius....

Ninjitsu: The Ninjitsu are strictly carnivores, and often demand their food to be alive and kicking when
delivered. The Ninjutsu are far more aggressive than either the Bushido or the Geisha, having a tendency to
attack whatever's near them if they think they can get away with it. They're very difficult to train. The Ninjutsu,
on the other hand, seem very violent and rash, always jumping into things before they probably should, and
often causing the very problems the Bushido tries to stop. Even at this young age, they're very secretive, and
are always keeping secrets, even if they're little, stupid ones. They don't care for their human companions
much, and aren't beyond biting.

Samurai: Samurai, like Bushido, are omnivores. Samurai are much easier to take care of than all other
Formica. They live to serve, and once under your servitute (it may take them a while to figure that out), they
will follow your orders to an absolute... Be careful though - many owners have had their Samurai Formica
die trying to protect their owners, or even follow out simple commands. Samurai, unlike the Bushido - lack
the "code of honor", and will instead follow their "master's" orders... whatever they may be.
