Species Standards
Prefered Habitat: The Galabex prefer to live in vast woodlands, secluded within' the secrecy of the lush
undergrowth and trees. On rare occasions, they are seen wandering into the open plains and meadows,
but they prefer to stay hidden.
Diet: Their diet consists of undergrowth.. They only eat plants, and can easily enough adjust to a diet of
grains.
Call: They can make a rather loud trumpeting call - but usually they are voiceless.
Special Care Needs: None
Biology and Anatomy: Despite common misconception, both genders of Galabex have antlers, though the
Doe's are much smaller than those of the mighty Stag or even the great Regal. Their thin legs allow them to
move quickly and silently through the forest- they may look a bit awkwardly thin, but they allow the creature
perfect travel through the species' habitat of choice, the forests.
Behavioral Study: The Galabex enjoy a life of hidden splendor. They can become quite violent during the fall
when adults, but for the most part, prefer secrecy - even from each other. They are not known to be terribly
brash, and are often considered to be very shy - so training your Galabex to "not spook" may be a difficult
task.
Suggested Uses: The Galabex promises to be a rather spry mount when it grows up - able to leap over very
high fences, etc. If you want a mount that can jump grand distances, then the Galabex is for you.. but they
take a bit more training than an equillion would.
Doe: Doe are all female, and are the "standard breed" for the Galabex.
Stag: Stag are all male, and are the "standard breed" for the Galabex... Really - they're the same creature as
the Doe, but.. they're the ones to grow massive antlers when they grow up.
Regal: Regal are just that.. their supreme awesomeness is bound to shine through when they grow up,
quite a bit larger than even the largest of Stag! They love to live in forests, just as the "standard" galabex do,
but they are usually found in the pine forests more frequently.

Greatwood Designed with the heart of the great forest far beyond the desert to the west in mind - this Galabex sports a black pelt with rich red stripes, and silver-white antlers and saddle-back. The Greatwood Galabex are all male, though it's rumored that females may be avalailable in... secluded locations.

Kirin Though they may look it, not all Kirin Galabex are male. And more special than that, not all Kirin Galabex look the same. There are four varieties in fact, commonly called; Shade (black), White Gold, Prism, and Cobalt (blue). When you purchase a Kirin, your color is given to you at random - however, if you already own a Kirin Galabex, you can state that you already own that color to prevent getting a duplicate. As you cannot get "scales" on a custom Galabex, getting a Kirin (or breeding with a Kirin) is the best way to get this special feature on this mighty and noble creature.
