Species Standards

Prefered Habitat: Bwee like warmer climates - anything from 55 F and up.. to help keep themselves cool,
they usually take "dust baths".

Diet: Bwee are not by any means picky eaters, and will eat anything that is edible, really.. Meat, fish (though
they're not good at catching it), carrion, fruit, veggies, tree bark, mushrooms, bugs, etc... If it's not a rock -
they'll probably give it a try.

Call: Bwee are acutally named after the noise they make - "bwee bwee bweeeee!"

Special Care Needs:  Bwee are easy to care for, smart - quick to learn, and easy enough to feed. They do
however have very sharp tusks when they grow up, which will easily damage a person - so you'd best train
yours before it grows too big. The quills on a Bwee's back however - (hard and sharpened hairs, like that of
a procupine) should be something you avoid.. a loyal Bwee's owner may find that they are soft to pet, but a
stranger would find a handfull of foot long quills sticking into their skin.

Biology and Anatomy:   These small pig like creatures have spikes along their body in the same manner as
a porcupine would. They use their spikes along their body to defend themselves from opponents. They all
have skilled scenting, and they are often used to scent out truffles for their owners. These small but
powerful creatures are great family pets, truffle finders, and and the Rage breed is a very talented fighter. At
the baby stage, sure, they are decently strong, but it is not recommended at all for you to fight with them,
though you could use them to find truffles for you, they'd sure love that.

Behavioral Study: Bwee can live in social groups - but fair well on their own as well. They generally take
good care of their own young (sporting rather large litters), and are even known to take care of young of
other animals as well!... Though, you should probably not try to introduce young animals to them without
extreme supervision - they will eat almost anything, after all...

Suggested Uses: Bwee (the truffle especially) are very good at finding food, roots, or.. well - anything you
want hidden beneth the earth... But what most people unfortunately use them for is for fighting. Though they
can make good guard companions - for some reason, people feel the need to pit them, rather than train
them well enough to be a companion.
Breeds Available
Truffle:  Truffle Bwee are the most sweet, docile, and friendly of all the Bwee.. But, keep a wary eye - they still
will have sharp tusks when growing up.. They are so named after their ability to easily locate Truffles
(mushrooms) hidden beneth the leaves and dirt.

Static: Guess why the Static bwee was named so..? Yeah, you guessed it.. for some reason, the quills on
the back of the Static bwee can easily carry an electrical charge - and they do so.. Though the Static Bwee
can control it - you'd best be cautious when handling yours (or a stranger's).

Rage: The Rage Bwee is by far the most difficult to train, and a favorite of the "pitters".. They are short
tempered, and though they get along well with other Bwee - they generally don't get along with other
species. They're quite territorial and pushy... and have a habit of fighting beyond the brink of death.

Tapir
The Tapir Bwee is very similar to the Truffle Bwee, except for it's unique coloration.
River
The River Bwee, as it's name suggests, lives in the muddy beds of rivers.  It is not however, what you would
call an excellent swimmer - though it usually does know how.  Instead, it prefers to eat the grubs that hide
along the banks.
