Species Standards
Prefered Habitat: Snofle are perfectly willing to live anywhere they can find an easy source of water, and
plenty of fruitful bushes to eat... Where there is no bushes or water, they will not be found. Jungles are the
most common of places, but they have no problems living in "regular" forests, or even the outskirts of them
- along fields and open plains. Occasionally, a family of Snorfle can be seen crossing the desert - either
because they know where the food is hiding, or they're just passing through to greener lands.
Diet: Snorfle are fairly squat creatures, and they eat fruit and berries.. Luckily, they can use their fairly long
and agile nose to pluck tastey treats off of the taller areas of the bushes. On occassion, they will eat tender
or sweet leaves as well - but berries and fruit seem to be their main diet.
Call: They "snuffle" when they're happy, "squeal" when they're afraid, and "trumpet" when they're angry (or
trying to call other snorfle to their assistance)... On rare occasion, one can hear a low rumbling (fairly quiet)
growl coming from them - but nobody knows what that stands for yet.
Special Care Needs: Snorfle always need something to do.. whether it's the owner spending time playing
with them, or just giving the little critter plenty of balls to pick up with it's nose and toss around - it needs
"stuff to do", so be sure to provide it!
Biology and Anatomy: A snorfle not only has a great deal of fat to help it deal with the more extreme
temperatures of the world - it helps it swim! These fat little creatures are very good swimmers - and their
large ears can swivel in nearly any direction, giving it excelent hearing. It's sense of smell is also
extraordinary - and it's nose is rather prehensile. Their large middle claw is not designed for either attack
nor defense, but rather for "digging out" small pits to lay in during the heat of the day.
Behavioral Study: Snorfle live in small family groups - ranging in members from 2 to 6.. Usually the family
group consists of the mother, father, and their offspring until they are ready to find their own mates...
Though snorfle do not mate for life, the male will always stay with the female until the babies are ready to
leave the mother - at which time, the male either leaves also, or produces another litter, and thus stays
even longer with the female.
Suggested Uses: Snorfle, though a common prey animal, are rather curious and intelligent creatures - and
enjoy a good romp. Many people find the Snorfle to be a restful companion - and something of an "alarm
system" - as their large ears can easily detect predators - and they'll be more than willing to squeal for their
owner to come save them from the big scary whatever

Leche: A white Snorfle? You bet! These cute little creatures prefer to live in the shade, so either keep them
in it, or provide their fur-less skin some sun protection with sun-screen!
CottonCandy: The CottonCandy Snorfle is no different really from the Bubblegum, but for some reason it's
special color didn't catch on quite as well.
Caramel: Caramel is by far to be considered the most "standard" color of Snorfle
Bubblegum: It is the dream of many-a-child to own their very own pet Pink Snofle.. and because of the
"spazzing" of parents to get ahold of one for thier child's early birthday, they are unfortunately all adopted out.
