Species Standards

Prefered Habitat: The Enileaf are generally considered mystical creatures, and whatever forest they live in
becomes enchanted.. of course, that's only a consideration - a honeysuckle enileaf, for example, cannot
make the flowers bloom!  They will live anywhere there is the companionship of a "person", be that person
a human, fae, or demon.

Diet: They are carniverous, and will eat anything they can catch with ease.. usually this is bugs, mice, and
small birds.

Call: They sound just like cats and kittens!

Special Care Needs: Their fur is quite thick and silky, and you should help brush it at least once per week to
help keep it from matting.

Biology and Anatomy:  At first glance, these creatures look like nothing more than little kittens - but do not let
them fool you!  The only noticable difference between they and kittens are their 'eyebrow whiskers", which
are much thicker and longer than that of a normal kitten.  These will come in very handy for sensing the
delicate shifts in wind when they grow up and aquire their wings.  Their "wings" are actually individual
digets (or "fingers") that stick out of it's back and tail at various locations, with extra skin stretching between
them, similar to a bat's wing.  Covering these digets and membranes are downy feathers - giving them the
appearance of  "feathered bat-wings", and sometimes at first glance "many birdwings".

Behavioral Study: Their favorite place to be is around a chosen person.  This may be a person of either
good or evil, but as it stands, they generally don't "group up" other than a single individual.  Rumors speak
of them enchanting forest groves, and making them magical, but it has never been proven.  As far as
choosing mates go, these creatures usually only choose a mate that is owned by "their person", and hardly
ever share affection with them - instead, they produce kittens, raise them together (with their owners' help),
and casually give each other plenty of room... Staying "aloof".  With their owners, they are anything but aloof,
and are the most affectionate, helpful, and clever of small companions.. As kittens, of course, they're just
playful little kittens... Have a string anyone?

Suggested Uses: Familiars, companions.. think of them as you will - just don't have any illusions of battling
them, they're rather fragile.
Breeds Available
Honeysuckle: The Honeysuckle is a playful breed, and certainly the most colorful.  They are so named for
their vibrant fur, as is a honeysuckle flower.  They enjoy people with energy, and tend to get in all matters of
trouble themselves.

Lunar: The Lunar Enileaf is one of the two more common breeds (honeysuckle being the other), and is so
named because of it's tendancy to prefer the night... Also, it's fur is a slate-blue, like the dusk it so dearly
loves.  It has no preference for people that it prefers to make companions with, and is generally more placid
and observant than the playful and energetic honeysuckle.

Radiant: The Radiant is said to be kissed by the sun - and it's fur shows a certain... hint of it.  Almost pure
white, with hints of light gold shimmering in their guard-hairs.  These creatures prefer to be around during
the daytime, and rarely "choose" a person of evil nature as their companion.
Very Special Breeds
Eclipsion
Wizards and Evil folk alike seek out the Eclipsion Enileaf for the powers
that it is rumored to contain... Of course, collectors of the rare and
beautiful also seek it out for it's remarkable star-splattered coat.

Jellybean was created by an odd sort of wizard, a man named "Harry",
who thought it would be funny.  You could buy a Jellybean too, if you
wanted to.
