Prefered Habitat: Jibiji need to live in a warm place where they are safe from the harsh winters.. when harsh
winters come, they all travel south to the jungles where it's warmer. They need a fresh supply of water at
nearly all times, and are within' a half-days' flight or less of a stream or pond. They nest on low-bushes, such
as blackberry bushes - and rarely perch in the higher trees for some reason. They've no problem with taking
to the sky - high up in the air, but still prefer to fly lower - generally no higher than 20 feet.
Diet: The Jibiji eat a strict diet of small seeds. Sunflower seeds are usually as large as they can eat, but they
prefer the smaller seeds when they're younger. On very rare occassions, you may see a Todi Jibiji eating kiwi
fruit in small amounts, if it's provided for it. And the Bidi will sometimes eat blueberries - but again, it's rare -
and one should not feed fruit as the main diet of a Jibiji, as their delicate little tummies can't handle it.
Call: Twitterring, Chirping, Tweedling, Jibiii-ing, Cha-chiii-ing, and Tweeting. All manner of tiny, cute, and
fairly high-pitched noises come out of a Jibiji.. Usually best assosiated with their namesake.. a Bidi, for
example, usually tweets "Bidi-di-di!", while a Godi may tweet "Gooodi-go-go-DII", etc. Honestly, people
usually keep a Jibiji for it's bright colors and cheerful "song", so at least it's always a pleasant sound.
Special Care Needs: The Jibiji are fairly social birds, and should either be cared for by a loving owner, or
placed in a cage with a few Jibiji companions. Keep away from all predators, such as Slynk, or you may be
missing a Jibij or two.
Biology and Anatomy: The Jibiji are usually bright in color, and very very small in frame. Their bones are
super-light, as if their bodies being small were not light enough. They're excellent and agile little fliers,
capable of doing back-loops, and hovering in one spot. They have super-tiny (you'd almost need tweezers to
find them under their feathers, but you'd likely hurt them) little front feet with two claws on them. The purpose
of these claws is unknown, as they don't often use them to grasp things.. Though rumor has it that they will
use it to carry (more than one) seed back to their nest.
Behavioral Study: The Jibiji, as mentioned above, are social little creatures, usually living in great flocks of 10
to 100. The more rare the breed, the fewer the number in the flock. They build community nests out of
grasses in the bushes (for some reason they don't nest in trees, but rather low bushes, such as raspberry
bushes) - each one built like a little dome with a hole in the top for them to enter and exit. They are friendly
when tamed, happily spending their company with an owner and perching on their finger - but if not tamed,
they are easily frightened, making it nearly impossible to tame a wild one.
Suggested Uses: Most people keep a Jibiji because they are pretty. Most also keep a Jibiji because of their
beautiful song. But some find Jibiji to be a valuable companion on the road. After all, they don't eat much,
they can fly to keep up with you or sit on your shoulder, and they will more than happily twitter to keep you
company. Honestly, these are just cute companions - though some people have boasted training their Jibiji
to bring them a pencil or penny.
Todi: The Todi Jibiji is the breed that will on rare occassion eat kiwi fruit. Perhaps that has something to
do with it's bright green feathering?
Bidi: The Bidi Jibiji is the breed that will on rare occassion eat blueberries. Perhaps that has something to
do with it's bright blue feathering?
Godi: The Godi Jibiji is one of the most prized of the lot - for their song is certainly renown for being the
sweetest and most merry. On top of that, their "golden" feathering is highly prized as well.

Rowi The Rowi Jibiji has the most unique markings of the Jibiji, for certain. They blend in best with their natural surroundings - and though their song is not so sweet, it is simple and good. The Rowi is slightly larger than their other Jibiji bretheren, and able to (when fully grown) carry some lightweight items, like parchment or mice. Oh yeah, we should mention that the Rowi Jibiji will also eat bugs, in addition to their diet of seeds.
